Hello everybody!
I hope everyone had a great and happy holiday season and New Year. My first half of December was spent studying for finals; I was really busy. I also spent time saying goodbye to some of my international buddies before the semester ended. It will be a long time before I get to see them again. Although it’s really sad seeing your friends go away, I am so happy I had the opportunity to meet and get to know them. I will never forget them!
After finals, I spent a good amount of time relaxing with my Korean friends I’ve made since starting my visit. We ate out in restaurants and explored parts of Seoul I had yet to have to chance to see. One of my friends invited me to lunch with her family for Christmas. It was really fun, but my feeling a little homesick translated into our all heading out for Mexican food. It was a really emotional month, but I nonetheless look forward to my vacation (from now through March). I hope everyone starts off your year with as many amazing experiences as I’ve been lucky enough to have!
