From classrooms to nature, students in the Environmental Science program are guaranteed the access to studying nature up close and personal through our many partnering organizations. From Introduction to Environmental Science (ESRM 100) to ESRM Capstone (ESRM 499), students find themselves immersed in the outside world, performing trail maintenance, beach clean-ups, conducting research on the local Channel Islands to the international waters of the Cook Islands. A focus of the Environmental Science program is ensuring that the information being taught in classes directly corresponds to what is happening in our local environments.
