Surfers Point Stewardship Day

Volunteer Ventura and the Surfrider Foundation are seeking volunteers to help remove invasive weeds as part of the ongoing maintenance of the Surfers’ Point Managed Retreat Project. After 7 years of dedicated volunteer efforts the new dunes at Surfers’ Point are well established with native plants and are very stabilized. Join this volunteer work day to perform maintenance by removing weeds and non-native plants from the dunes.
Location: meet at the north end of Surfers’ Point, past the parking lot kiosk and by the board walk/rock garden – look for the blue Surfrider tent.
