Ormond Beach Habitat Cleanup

Ormond beach is home to the endangered Western Snowy Plover and California Least Tern who need your help to clean up their habitat! Join us for an unusual beach clean up on Ormond beach. We will go into the habitat to pick up trash before breeding season begins again. We have had many birds nesting next to plastic, cups, forks, balloons, etc and we want to prevent that this year, so help us clean up this unique beach! Hours can be signed off on for service learning.
Note: There are only 10 parking spots at Arnold road, so carpooling is required. Contact Alissa Goldberg or Cassie Rogers to set up carpools/join a carpool.
Required: hat, long pants, closed toed shoes, sunscreen, water, and gloves (if you have them)
