CI Audubon Club Volunteer Naturalist Training

Want something fun and engaging to do with your free time or are you interested in resume experiences?

We are looking for Volunteer Naturalist for the Snowy Plover and Least Tern Breeding Season!

WE will teach you about the western snowy plover and California least tern in Ventura County:

– Where & when these birds nest on Ventura County beaches
– Federal and State Endangered Species Act Status and what that means
– Life history: migration, mating, feeding, nesting, chick rearing
– How to conduct public outreach and help protect these birds

after you have completed training : YOU come to the beach and teach others and help us collect scientific data!
