Veterans Day of Service

November 11 is Veterans Day. Currently, there are more than 22 million Veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces; help thank and honor them in November by bringing your CSUCI spirit on Friday, November 15, 2019 to serve at The Abundant Table Farm.

Here is what you need to know to be prepared for the day.

START TIME: Meet the Roadrunner Shuttle and fellow CSUCI students at the Peace Pole (located in Central Mall across from Sierra Hall) no later than 8:30AM. We will return to CSUCI by 1:30pm. Eat a good breakfastk, we will provide lunch!

ORGANIZATION INFORMATION: The Abundant Table is a grassroots, nonprofit organization that seeks to transform lives and food systems by creating sustainable relationships to the land and local community.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This event brings together CSUCI students, staff and faculty to serve on a community project by working in the fields at The Abundant Table.

The event is made possible by funding from Instructionally Related Activities and is sponsored by the Center for Community Engagement, Inclusive Student Services & the Multicultural Dream Center and Veterans Affairs Program.
