Tender Invasive Seedling Decimation Ranch Fire Recovery and Restoration

This interesting post-fire recovery spot adjacent to the Sespe Wilderness has an opportunistic weed issue.  Whenever fire suppression efforts cause significant ground disturbance, and fire tips the nutrient load, and weeds move in for the free-for-all.  Sisymbrium and hirschfeldia mustards are sprouting seedlings at this point near Whitaker Peak, and condor microtrash is freshly exposed for collecting.  Please join us for a flash-mob attack, pulling or hoeing seedlings and collecting microtrash.  Enjoy great company, delish refreshments, and the good feeling that comes from making a difference in Nature’s garden.
