DESCRIPTION:This year’s festival will be bigger\, better\, and even MORE FUN! We are thrilled to once again host our popular film festival at an outdoor venue. Bring your low-back chairs and blankets\, and prepare for a night to remember! \nWith live music\, food trucks\, outdoor games\, and more\, this year’s festival will be one night of fun for the whole community to enjoy. All proceeds from this event will help support the mission of Ventura Land Trust. \nThe Wild and Scenic Film Festival offers audiences the chance to enjoy a series of award-winning short films that celebrate the beauty and bounty of our natural world.  This popular festival\, which sells out every year\, helps to connect the Land Trust’s work to similar environmental efforts around the globe. In addition to viewing films\, attendees also enjoy live music\, special guests\, food\, beer\, wine and the chance to win high-end items in a raffle that includes original artwork\, outdoor gear\, dining-out certificates and much\, much more. \nDoors Open at 5 PM\, Films Begin at 8 PM\, Fun Lasts All Night!

SUMMARY:Monthly Beach Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Join Surfrider for their monthly beach clean-up! For all beach cleanups\, please wear comfortable clothes\, closed toed shoes and sunscreen. All volunteers are welcome to participate and must sign a liability waiver\, but volunteers under 18 MUST have a parent or guardian present at the beginning of the cleanup to sign a liability waiver before the minor can participate. All supplies is provided\, but volunteers are always welcome to bring their own work gloves\, trash bag/bucket\, and/or reusable water bottle to reduce waste. Please be prepared to fill out a data card of all the trash you pick up—we need this information to help find the sources of trash on our beaches!! Thank you for your interest in helping keep our beaches clean. Meet on the beach promenade at the end of California Street.
