SUMMARY:La Jolla Valley Trail Maintenance
DESCRIPTION:Join Santa Monica Mountains Trails Council on February 19th at Pt Mugu State Park for Trail Maintenance of La Jolla Valley.  \n8:30AM Routine trail maintenance. We will be working on various trails in La Jolla Valley. Meet at the end of Wendy Dr. and Potrero Rd. for shuttle. From the 101 fwy take Wenday Rd. south to the end of the road at Potrero Rd. \nLeader: Norm Simmonds 805-523-7250 \nBefore You Go \nMost trail work is on Saturdays and we usually start work at 8:30AM. Be punctual. \nSometimes we may hike a mile or two to the work site.  \nWe generally work until 2:30 with some variation (rain\, heat or we run out of work) \nView the Calendar and select a time and place where you would like to work. \nCall the Leader listed for the date you selected to let him/her know you are coming. \nWatch the Training and Safety Video and follow the instructions. \nReview the “Know Before you Go” Page. \nReview the mini “Trail Work Guide”. \nBring water and lunch. \nWear sturdy shoes or boots\, long pants\, work gloves\, hat\, long sleeve shirt and eye protection. \nLink to Map
