SUMMARY:Cuyama River Tamarisk Safari Base Camp with Day Hiking
DESCRIPTION:  Just north of Ojai and the Dick Smith Wilderness\, join us for a stewardship adventure in the Cuyama River watershed\, treating invasive tamarisk (with low-toxicity herbicide) while day hiking along the riverbed. It’s easy hiking\, and you’ll find track and sign of native wildlife everywhere. \nLos Padres National Forest\nSat\, May 5\, 2018  8:30 am – 4:30 pm\nSun\, May 6\, 2018  9:00 am – 2:00 pm\nFeast and Campout\n(Saturday only option available) \n    Saturday evening we’ll enjoy a delish community feast\, toasty campfire\, and camp out under the starry night sky with great people like you. Sunday morning we’ll enjoy a short excursion hike and then work just a few hours before heading out early Sunday afternoon.
