SUMMARY:Invasive Crayfish Removal SL Opportunity
DESCRIPTION:Join Mountains Restoration Trust to preserve and protect the streams and creeks of the Malibu Creek Watershed. The invasive\, non-native crayfish are harmful to the ecosystem of the Santa Monica Mountains. They prey on native species\, reduce water quality\, and cause problems with creek bed erosion. We need your help in trapping and removing the crayfish as well as picking up trash along the stream. \nGreat Fun for Kids and Families! Volunteers 12 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers under the age of 18 must bring this form with a parent or guardian’s signature if the parent or guardian is not attending. \nRegistration is Required: Registered volunteers will receive an email confirmation with more details. \nHave more questions?
