The Spring 2018 Virtual Poster Showcase (VPS) is now open for registration and abstract submissions. Both graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to participate. VPS is a great opportunity for students to boost career potential, build a resume, and receive critical feedback-without the need to travel.
The Virtual Poster Showcase is a new opportunity that allows undergraduate and graduate students to present their research virtually, alleviating any need to travel. Students not only get valuable feedback on their science, but also gain experience in reviewing the research of other students. This affordable and accessible option is ideal for students, and can help build their academic resume.
Thanks to a new collaboration with the American Geosciences Institute (AGI), beginning in the Fall 2017 showcase, students who fully participate through the judging phase will have their abstracts included in GeoRef. Learn more about this exciting development by reading the announcement.
Students will first submit an abstract. The first author (and presenter) on the abstract must be an undergraduate student for the Undergraduate Showcase and a graduate student for the Graduate Showcase.
Abstracts must be in English and submitted by the abstract submission deadline. The title is limited to 300 characters and the body is limited to 2000 characters (spaces and punctuation included). There is a $35 (US dollars) submission fee for all abstracts.
Abstract submission deadline for the Spring 2018 Showcase is 13 March 2018 at 11:59 PM ET.
